Not Your Average Birthday Girl: LPG 24h of Celebration

Girls only, details everywhere.
By: Lee Petra Grebenau

There are things you just know from the year before.
And this year, for my birthday, I wanted only one thing - to pause.
In the middle of life, in the middle of May, with everything going on around me, I just wanted a moment of stillness.
I wanted time to breathe.
But I also wanted to celebrate. Really celebrate.
So I decided - 24 hours at Yama Resort.
I chose the women I love most. The ones who make me laugh until I cry, the ones who remind me who I am.
I told them: drop everything. No kids. No cooking. No phones.
A birthday that’s part vacation, part fantasy - and completely mine.

So how did it begin?

Everyone arrived in the afternoon.
Flip-flops, swimsuits, drink in hand - and straight into the vibe.
A pool party with a white bar branded with my logo, colorful glasses, a slow sunset, music in the background, and that energy of “we’re here to have fun.”

What happens when you’re obsessed with details

If there’s one thing that’s always been there - it’s my obsession with seashells.
Not in the coconut-on-the-beach-in-Thailand kind of way,
more like a mermaid who works in couture.
So when I imagined the dinner table - I knew exactly what I wanted.
Tableware in pearl and sand tones, embroidered napkins with my name, a custom-designed menu just for the night.
And I baked every bread roll inside a real shell - one by one, the night before.

We woke up to the softest morning

We woke up to soft morning light.
No pressure. No clocks.
Outside was an entirely new table - full breakfast mode:
my favorite yellow-and-white striped tablecloth, the Lily of the Valley collection, and a delicate dragonfly napkin ring on each setting.
A table that felt airy, glowy, the kind that makes you sit down and exhale.
Everything was calm and exactly how I wanted the end of these 24 hours to feel.
Just right.

And before everyone left

I didn’t want them to go home with just pictures.
So I made sure each one got a picnic basket - the kind you’ll actually use.
There’s nothing like heading into nature, here in Israel, with a perfectly curated basket.
Inside: our signature branded beach towel, and the Hineni journal by Yuval Gonen.
And if you haven’t heard of it - you should.
It’s one of the most beautiful morning journals I’ve seen. Thoughtful, minimal design that helps you connect to yourself, set your daily vision, and remember you hold the power to shape your own reality.

The bottom line?

A birthday I wouldn’t change a single thing about.
Set tables, beloved women, quiet, style - and a heart exactly where it should be.
That’s how I celebrate myself.
And that’s how I choose to live.
